Yamaha MEP-4 1U Rack Mount MIDI Events Processor - 100V
The MEP-4 is a Midi Event Processor, accepting incoming midi data and modifying it to the midi outputs. Four micro processors are included, allowing very flexible midi operation. Examples of use would be: split a single keyboard in four ways, independently transposed, midi echo, on a different note and sound, connect a drum machine to the MEP4 and play the kick drum with your sustain pedal, accent only strongly played notes with another tone generator, set aftertouch to send pitch bend messages, etc. (Sonicstate)
Condition:
- This is a used unit.
- Physically this unit is in good condition for its age. It shows some small nicks and scratches. Please see photos for further details. Overall is still a nice piece.
- This unit has been tested and is fully functional. There are no faults to note.
- Please be aware this unit is 100V. This means it MUST be used with a step-down transformer, not a travel adaptor. If you are unsure about this please let us know. We have some great, compatible step-downs for sale HERE. They are designed in Australia for use in Australia and can be run 24/7.
- If you purchase from outside Australia you may need a step-down transformer to use this unit. Please contact us if you need any help sourcing the correct product.
