The Tascam M-224 was released in the 80's! You can see from the photos it has that classic Tascam design and colours from that time. Very similar to their other mixers, multitrack recorders and other bits and pieces. This M-224 was the largest of the Tascam M200 series of consoles. It features 24 channels, 4 busses, 1 stereo return, mic (XLR) and line input, insert on each channel, and 16 tape returns on the first 16 channels as well as 2 sends (effect and foldback) and a complete monitoring section. It has nice sounding preamps and effective EQ section. This 24 channel analogue mixer is still compact enough for a home or bedroom producer. It is 85.5 x 41.5 x 12 (cm).

Condition: 

• This unit has been used.
  
  
• This unit is in good condition for its age. It shows signs of wear like some scratches and nicks on the faceplate and sides. Overall it is still a nice piece. 
  
  
• This unit has has a minor service. Every channel and input has been thoroughly tested. There are no faults to note. 
  
  
• A previous owner has had two blue LED lights installed in the two lower VU meters. 
  
  
• Please be aware this unit is 100V. This means it MUST be used with a step-down transformer, not a travel adaptor. If you are unsure about this please let us know. We have some great, compatible step-downs for sale HERE.  They are designed in Australia for use in Australia and can be run 24/7. (Please note, the M-224 draws 46 Watts so we recommend using a step-down which can provide 60 Watts or more)
