Roland SIP-301 Vintage Analogue Bass Guitar Pre-Amp & Compressor - 100V
The Roland SIP-301 is a versatile analogue bass preamp introduced in the early 1980s as part of Roland's acclaimed rack-mount effects series.
It features high and low gain inputs, followed by a vintage dual-optical compressor circuit known for its smooth compression and low noise, which can be bypassed via a footswitch. Output options are comprehensive, with unbalanced outputs on both front and rear panels, a balanced XLR output on the front, and a built-in crossover network for bi-amp applications.
Condition:
- This is a used unit.
- Physically this unit is in good condition. It shows some general wear from use and age like some rack rash, nicks, scratches and scuffs. There is nothing major and overall it is still a nice pre-amp. Please see all photos for further details.
- All switches and potentiometers function as they should. This unit is 100% functional and has not faults to note.
- Please be aware this unit is 100V. This means it MUST be used with a step-down transformer, not a travel adaptor. If you are unsure about this please let us know. We have some great, compatible step-downs for sale HERE. They are designed in Australia for use in Australia and can be run 24/7.
