This Fender AST Aerodyne Stratocaster was made between 2010 and 2011, is a unique take on the classic Stratocaster design. It features a contoured basswood body with an arched top and cream binding, giving it a sleek, modern appearance that sets it apart from its American and Mexican counterparts. The guitar is lightweight and easy to play, with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. It comes equipped with three Fender Japan vintage single-coil pickups, providing the classic Stratocaster tone with a bit more midrange and slightly less high end due to the basswood body. This model was primarily available in Japan, making it somewhat rare outside the country, but it’s highly regarded for its aesthetics, playability, and sound quality.
Condition:
- This is a used guitar.
- Physically this unit is in great condition. It shows a small amount of wear from use and age. Wear includes small imperfections and dents, light scratches and scuffs. Please see photos for further details.
- This guitar has been tested and set up. It is fully functional, the intonation has been checked. The frets are high and smooth.
- This Fender has had a minor service. This included:
- Cleaning the neck, buffed and polished frets.
- Pickup height adjusted.
- String height adjusted.
- Switches and pots were cleaned.
- Brand new Elixer strings have been installed.
- For safety during shipping, tension will be taken off the neck. The guitar will need to be tuned on arrival.
- Please note that although we have tested the intonation and set up the guitar here, due to the nature of guitars as well as the shipping and handling process there is a chance you will need to set up the guitar again. The set up may need to be modified to suit your personal preferences.
- This guitar will ship with a padded gig bag.
- Guitars picked up from our West Gosford store will set up ready to play!
