Sansui AU-101 70's Solid State Stereo Amplifier
The Sansui AU-101 is a solid-state integrated stereo amplifier produced between 1973 and 1975, designed as an entry-level model that inherits features from Sansui's higher-end AU-555A. The amplifier features a minimalist control layout, including rotary knobs for volume, bass, treble, balance, and input selection (Mic, Phono, Aux), along with switches for loudness, speaker selection, and tape monitoring. Users often praise the AU-101 for its warm, tube-like sound character, despite its modest power output, making it suitable for pairing with efficient speakers in small to medium-sized listening environments. The amplifier's straightforward design and reliable performance have contributed to its enduring popularity among vintage audio enthusiasts.

• This unit has been used.
• This unit has been thoroughly tested and everything is working as it should.
• This unit is overall in great condition for something made in the 70's. It shows some general wear from use and age like some marks, nicks and scratches. The bezels for the phones and mic have been chipped off. Two speaker input screws are not orignal. The lacquer has mostly come off one of the side panels. Please see all photos.
• Please be aware this unit can be set to multiple voltages to be used in most countries around the world! It is currently set to 240V for use in Australia and New Zealand. To change it to 100 -117 or 220 you just need to move the switch at the back into the right position and change the fuse. Please make sure the unit is set to your countries mains power before turning on. If you are unsure just get in touch!
