The Sounds of the ZR Expansion ROM faithfully reproduces the diverse sounds of ENSONIQ’s popular ZR-76 keyboard, including William Coakley’s Perfect Piano. You’ll find everything from synths and orchestral instruments to one of the finest pianos ever sampled in one soundset. And the 32MB Sounds of the ZR also offers you a special bank of General MIDI presets and a bank of brand new sounds created from the original ZR-76 waveforms that takes full advantage of your Proteus-platform product’s powerful filter and synthesis architecture.

  • It has been tested in a compatible E-MU and working as it should. 

  • This card is compatible with many different E-MU's! These include:

    Keyboards:
    MK-6, PK-6, XK-6,Vintage Keys and Ensoniq Halo keyboards

    Command Stations:
    MP-7, PX-7, XL-7 & Proteus 2500 Command Stations

    19" RackMount Synth modules:
    Proteus 1000, Proteus 2000, Proteus 2500, Xtreme Lead-1, Turbo Lead, Mo'Phatt, Turbo Phatt, Virtuoso 2000, Orbit 3, Vintage Pro, Planet Earth 
    and the B3 synth rack mount modules.

  • Please ensure you item is compatible before purchase. 

  • This card contains 512 ZR-76 inspired sounds and 444 Instruments. 

  • This sale is for the ROM card only. Absolutely nothing else is included in this sale.

  • If you are unsure about installing this item I would suggest getting a tech or someone knowledgable to install it for you. It is pretty simple, just like installing a RAM card into an old computer, but you don't want to force it in the wrong way. It should not take more than 15-20 min as it is plug and play!
