What do you mean by 110V? or requires a stepdown transformer?

Many of our instruments are sourced from around the world, most notably North America and Japan. Unlike Australia which uses 240 Volt power, these countries use 110 Volt power.

Using an instrument that requires 110V in a country such as Australia will require the use of a stepdown transformer. The transformer will convert our Australian 240V to 110V. This will prevent potential damage to the unit. 

We ensure the required voltage of an instrument is as obvious as possible for the purchaser, but we advise that you please double check your instrument before plugging in a power source.

Will I receive a power supply with my item?

Because we ship worldwide, it is hard to keep all variations of power supplies for various regions. Please be aware that unless specified in the product listing, a power supply will not be included.

How are the goods packaged?

When purchasing goods from us, we ensure that your product is packed as safely as possible. We follow a strict packing standard to prevent any handling damages that may occur during transit.

We receive a large amount of packaging material everyday. This packing material may be reused to pack your order. We do not believe in creating more waste than is necessary, we do ensure that reused packing is clean, hygienic, safe and appropriate before it is reused.

When will my item be shipped?

All orders are processed within 5 business days.

How do I arrange to have my gear repaired?

We repair both new and vintage gear. Please enquire via email info[a]lofimusic.com.au

May I pick my item up and pay cash?

I am interested in one of your synthesisers. Do you have a showroom I can visit to test it out?

We do not have a showroom at this stage but you can organise an appointment to visit our workshop located in West Gosford. Please send us an email at info[a]lofimusic.com.au

What is your refund policy?

As we are just a very small, family owned business we do not offer refunds for change of mind. 

If we choose to refund a change of mind request a restocking fee of up to 15% will be charged to cover our staffs time and non refundable fees charged by the payment provider.

If you have an issue with your item when it is delivered, please get in touch ASAP.  We will never leave a customer with an item which does not arrive as expected. We will strive to resolve any problems with you.
