The E-MU Protozoa is a 16 MB expansion ROM that consolidates the iconic sounds from E-MU's renowned Proteus series into a single module. It encompasses presets from the Proteus/1 (Pop/Rock), Proteus/2 (Orchestral), and Proteus/3 (World) sound modules, which have been featured in numerous hit songs over the past decade. This expansion allows users to access a diverse array of high-quality sounds, optimized for advanced synthesis and filter architectures in compatible E-MU systems. 

Condition:

  • This expansion card have been used.

  • This card has been tested in a compatible E-MU and is working as it should. 

  • This card is compatible with many different E-MU's! These include:

    Keyboards:

    MK-6, PK-6, XK-6,Vintage Keys and Ensoniq Halo keyboards

    Command Stations:

    MP-7, PX-7, XL-7 & Proteus 2500 Command Stations

    19" RackMount Synth modules:

    Proteus 1000, Proteus 2000, Proteus 2500, Xtreme Lead-1, Turbo Lead, Mo'Phatt, Turbo Phatt, Virtuoso 2000, Orbit 3, Vintage Pro, Planet Earth 
    and the B3 synth rack mount modules.

  • Please ensure you item is compatible before purchase. 

  • This sale is for the 1 x ROM card only. Absolutely nothing else is included in this sale.

  • If you are unsure about installing this item I would suggest getting a tech or someone knowledgable to install it for you. It is pretty simple, just like installing a RAM card into an old computer, but you don't want to force it in the wrong way. It should not take more than 10-20 min as it is plug and play!
