The Audio-Technica AT33E is a Japan-made low-output moving-coil (MC) phono cartridge produced circa 1981-1984. Renowned for its smooth, detailed sound image and high-grade LC/OFC coils, making it a sought-after choice among analog enthusiasts for upgrading from entry-level cartridges.

This is a low output moving coil cartridge therefore you will need additional gain if you use a standard MM phono pre-amplifier
