The Audio-Technica AT33ML/OCC is a low-output moving coil (MC) cartridge introduced in the early 1990s as part of the brand’s AT33 series, succeeding the original AT33 and AT33E. The “ML/OCC” designation refers to its MicroLine stylus and Ohno Continuous Casting (OCC) copper coils — both key upgrades that improved tracking precision and signal purity. The cartridge uses a MicroLine nude diamond stylus mounted on a tapered boron cantilever, giving it excellent tracing accuracy and low distortion across the entire frequency range.
