The Fidelity Research FR-64fx is a high-mass tonearm manufactured in Japan during the 1980s, designed for installation on turntables requiring a separate tonearm assembly.

It uses a detachable headshell system and is engineered for compatibility with a wide range of phono cartridges. The arm is constructed as a standalone unit, intended for integration into high-end turntable setups.

Fidelity Research tonearms are part of the company’s range of analogue playback components produced for precision vinyl reproduction.


Condition:

  • This is a used unit.

  • Physically this unit is in excellent condition for its age. It shows some minor wear from use and age like some small surface imperfections. Nothing major at all.

  • This unit has been tested and it is working as it should.

  • This FR-64FX ships with a Fidelity Research wiring loom.

  • The FR-64FX is definitely for people who are experienced with turntables and setting up tone arms. This is because this unit is delicate and require fine precision to set up. We will not be able to remotely help with set up or installation. So please ensure you are confident before purchase or have a technician who can install it for you. (If you are able to visit our store in West Gosford, NSW we could help with set up)

  • This sale is for the tonearm and wiring loom pictured. Nothing else, nor any other parts are included in this sale.
