The Solid-5 is a really lovely listening turntable from the 70's. Micro Seiki originally made surgical instruments and miniature mechanisms. They then started to produce exquisite and sought-after turntables in the 60's and 70's. Their attention to detail and fine mechanics are why the Micro Seiki turntables are known as a cut above the rest. The unit is housed in a solid base and features large size shock absorbers which are designed to minimise acoustic feedback and produce excellent sound quality. This unit looks beautiful and sounds great.

Condition: 

• This is a used unit. 
  
  
• Physically, the unit itself is in good condition. It shows some general wear from use and age like a couple of nicks in the plinth and some scratches. Nothing major at all. Overall it is a nice turntable.
  
  
• The lid shows some lots of scratches on the top. There is some cracks in the corners. It is still perfect for protecting your turntable while not in use, and during the shipping process. 
  
  
• This unit has a built in level which has dried up over time and no longer has the little bubble inside it. 
  
  
• This unit has been tested. It is fully functional and sounds excellent.
  
  
• This unit has had a brand new drive belt installed. 
  
  
• This unit will ship with a genuine Micro Seiki headshell and secondhand Micro Seiki M-7000/5 Moving Magnet cartridge and stylus. These have been used but are in good condition to get you started.
  

• Please be aware, this unit is 100V. This means you MUST connect it to the correct step-down transformer before powering it on. If you are unsure about this feel free to send us a message as we would be glad to help you source the correct item. We also have some for sale HERE.

  
  
• If you purchase from outside Australia you may also need a step-down to power on this unit. If you are unsure please feel free to get in touch.
