Mosrite Of California '65 Reissue Electric Bass Guitar - Kurokumo Made In Japan
This sale is for a Mosrite '65 reissue / copy bass guitar. It has the serial number stamped into the fretboard. It is 3622. There is not too much information out there about dating these guitars, so we cannot be sure when this guitar was built. From information we have found online, we know this is a Kurokumo model, which was built in Japan just down the road from the renowned Fujigen Factory. . Most likely in the 2000's. Identification points include potentiometers which cannot be dated, the grey made in Japan "Guaranty Card", Black Mosrite vintage inspired case, red Mosrite sticker, as well as the kidney shaped plate on the back with "M Mosrite" engraved into it.

Condition:
- This is a used guitar.
- Physically this unit is in great condition. It shows some general wear from use and age. The wear some very light scratches and scuffs, as well as some small dents and nicks in the finish. Nothing major at all. Please see all photos.
- This guitar has been tested. It is fully functional, the intonation has been checked. The frets are in great condition, only slightly worn. There is some really minor pitting on the first fret. The action is low. It plays really well and has a nice, round tone.
- This Mosrite has had a minor service and thorough test. This included:
- Cleaning the neck, buffed and polished frets.
- Pickup height adjusted.
- String height adjusted.
- Switches and pots were cleaned.
- For safety during shipping, tension will be taken off the neck. The guitar will need to be tuned on arrival.
- Please note that although we have tested the intonation and set up the guitar here, due to the nature of guitars as well as the shipping and handling process there is a chance you will need to set up the guitar again. The set up may need to be modified to suit your personal preferences.
- Guitars picked up from our West Gosford store will set up ready to play!
- This unit will ship in its original hard case which is also in great condition.
