The Roland TR-77 (also known as the Rhythm 77) is a vintage analog drum machine released in 1972, marking Roland's first product following its establishment by Ikutaro Kakehashi. It features 13 analog drum voices, including bass drum, snare, hi-hats, cymbals, and claves, generated through analog circuitry. The TR-77 offers 16 preset rhythms encompassing rock, jazz, and Latin styles, with the ability to combine patterns for more complex arrangements. While lacking programmability, its distinctive sound has been utilised by artists like David Bowie and Gary Numan. The TR-77's warm, vintage tones continue to be appreciated by enthusiasts and collectors alike.

Physically this unit is in good condition. It shows a some general wear from use and age like some marks, nicks and scratches. Please see photos. Overall it is pretty nice for a 53 year old machine! It is missing the music stand thus the small holes in the top. Please see all photos for further details.
- All switches, sliders and controls function as they should. The machine has been tested and is sounding great.
