Yamaha KX5 Vintage MIDI Remote Keyboard Controller Keytar
The KX5 was released in 1984. It is a 37 note keyboard MIDI controller. It features a ribbon pitch and mod effects. There's also unison, sustain, and portamento buttons. further more, with 2 switchable MIDI channels you can control 2 synths on the fly. Add some fun to your home set up or rock out on stage!
Please note, this unit is a MIDI controller. It does not have any of its own sounds and was made to be used in conjunction with a synthesiser, be it hardware, or software.
Condition:
- This is a used unit.
- This KX5 shows some general wear from use and age like some marks nicks and scratches. Mainly the plastic side panel has cracked on the side, it has been glued back together. Nothing major. Overall it is still a very nice unit.
- This unit has been thoroughly tested. It has no faults to note.
- This KX5 powers on with 6 x AA batteries. These batteries are not included in the sale. (Please note, the MIDI input has a switch so it will not turn on unless both the batteries and MIDI cable are plugged in).
- This unit ships with a tan Rickenbacker guitar strap and the original Yamaha long MIDI cable.
- This sale is for the KX5 and keytar strap pictured only. Nothing else is included.
