Ace Tone FR-3 Rhythm Ace Vintage Rhythm Box Drum Machine / Arranger - 100V

The FR-3 is an uncommon little box, released in 1967, making it a little piece of drum machine history. Before Ikutaro Kakehashi started Roland, he founded Ace Tone! Many early Roland instruments, especially the drum machines, were based off these Ace Tone models.

Condition:

  • This is a used unit.

  • This Rhythm arranger is working and sounding as it should. It has no faults to note.

  • Unit is in good condition for its age. It shows some general marks from where some tape use to be, nicks and scratches. As well as some small chips, peeling and cracks in the tolex. Nothing major. Overall it is still a nice piece!

  • Please be aware this unit is 100V. This means it MUST be used with a step-down transformer, not a travel adaptor. If you are unsure about this please let us know. We have some great, compatible step-downs for sale here. They are designed in Australia for use in Australia and can be run 24/7.

  • If you purchase from outside Australia you may need a step-down transformer to use this unit. Please contact us if you need any help sourcing the correct product.
