The Akai Rhythm Wolf is a fully standalone analogue drum machine and bass synthesiser with an integrated 32-step sequencer.
It provides five analogue percussion sounds—kick, snare, percussion, open hi-hat and closed hi-hat—plus a separate monophonic analogue bass synth with oscillator tuning, filter cutoff and resonance controls.
Six velocity-sensitive MPC-style pads allow real-time performance and recording. Additional features include step sequencing, pattern chaining, adjustable swing, tempo control and the switchable Howl analogue distortion circuit.

Overall this Wolf is in good condition only showing some marks nicks and scratches. Please see all photos.
- This unit has been thoroughly tested. This unit has one fault, two segments of 3rd number in the numerical LED display do not illuminate. The display remains mostly usable, but some numbers will look be incomplete. Please see photos. All the pads, buttons and potentiometers are fully functional.
