Yamaha RM50 Digital 90's Drum Rhythm Programmer Programmable Drum Machine - 100V
The Yamaha RM50 is a professional 1U rackmount rhythm sound module from the early 1990s, featuring Yamaha’s 16-bit AWM2 sample-based sound engine.
It provides 500 preset drum and percussion voices, 500 variations, 128 fully editable user voices, 64 preset kits and 64 user kits. Its library covers acoustic drums, electronic and analogue-style percussion, cymbals, Latin percussion, sound effects, basses and tuned sounds.
Six velocity-sensitive trigger inputs allow electronic pads, drum pickups or recorded audio signals to trigger its sounds. The RM50 can also convert these trigger signals into MIDI data. Connections include MIDI In, Out and Thru, stereo outputs, headphone output and six assignable individual audio outputs.
Additional features include 16-note polyphony, 16-part multitimbral operation, editable filters and envelopes, and optional Yamaha waveform and data-card expansion. (No expansions included).

• This is a used unit.
• This unit shows some general wear from use and age like some marks, nicks and scratches. Sadly it is missing its rack ears. Please see photos for further details. Nothing major, overall it is a nice piece.
• This unit has been tested and is fully functional.
It has no faults to note.
• This unit has had a brand new memory battery installed.
• Please be aware this unit is 100V. This means it MUST be used with a step-down transformer, not a travel adaptor. If you are unsure about this please let us know. We have some great, compatible step-downs for sale HERE. They are designed in Australia for use in Australia and can be run 24/7.
• If you purchase from outside Australia you may need a step-down transformer to use this unit. Please contact us if you need any help sourcing the correct product.
