Digitech Vocalist II 5 Part Vocal Harmony Processor 1U Rack Mount - 120V
The Digitech MIDI Vocalist MV-5 released in the late 2000s is a rack-mount vocal processor and harmoniser that analyses your voice in real time and, via MIDI input, generates harmonies and backing vocals pitched to the chords you’re playing on a MIDI-capable keyboard or guitar-synth rig, offering up to four-part harmony, pitch-shifting, doubling, and built-in transposition. Its internal DSP provides clean pitch tracking and tight timing, making it popular among solo performers and small ensembles who want full vocal harmonies without backing singers, while the straightforward rack-mount 1U form factor and MIDI flexibility make it useful in studio and live applications alike. The MV-5 remains desirable among gigging musicians and producers for its reliability, MIDI integration and the classic Digitech vocal-processing character typical of that era.
