Lexicon PCM-80 90's Professional Digital Muti-Effects Processor - 100 - 240V
The Lexicon PCM-80 was first released in 1995. It became one of Lexicon’s most respected digital effects processors, especially valued for its reverb and multi-effects capabilities. The PCM-80 was designed for professional studios and musicians, offering advanced reverb algorithms, deep modulation features, and extensive MIDI control.
It offers 200 presets across 4 banks, providing a range of effects from classic reverb algorithms like Concert Hall and Plate to more complex, multi-voice effects such as choruses and delays. The unit features two DSP processors: one dedicated to reverb (LexiChip II) and another for handling additional effects (Motorola 56002). Users can easily tweak settings using the front panel's ADJUST knob, which is mapped to key parameters for each preset. The PCM-80 also includes extensive tempo control options, allowing effects to sync to MIDI clock or be adjusted in BPM. Additionally, it supports both analog and digital inputs, making it a flexible choice for various studio setups
