Epiphone 1958 Korina Flying V Electric Guitar - 2011 (2nd)
This Epiphone was built in 2011, in China. Based on the Gibson ‘58 Flying V, its symmetrical “modernistic” design changed the look of rock and roll forever. The ultra-fast neck and upper fret access offers any guitarist with fast hands and a flair for showmanship a must-have axe.
Please note that this Epiphone was marked as a "2nd" from the factory. Factory seconds normally have some sort of slight imperfections. Please read this items full condition description for further details.
Condition:
- This is a used guitar.
- Physically this unit is in good condition. It shows some signs of use and age like a couple of nicks and scratches. The knobs are not orignal and there is some light tarnishing to the hardware. The previous owner has also changed the truss rod cover. It says "Gibson", however this is NOT a Gibson guitar. Please see photos for further details.
- This guitar was marked as a "2nd" from the factory. We think this is due to the neck having a very slight bend in it. Our guitar tech set it up and tested it, and said that this does not affect its playability. It still looks and sounds great. Please see photos for further details. (If you are around Sydney / Central Coast you are more than welcome to come test it out in person).
- This guitar has been tested. It is fully functional, the intonation has been checked. The frets are in great condition. They are high, level and smooth.
- This guitar has had a minor service. This included:
- Cleaning the neck, buffed and polished frets.
- Oiling the fretboard.
- Pickup height adjusted.
- String height adjusted.
- Graphite has been added to nut.
- Pots were cleaned.
- Brand new Elixir strings were installed.
- For safety during shipping, tension will be taken off the neck. The guitar will need to be tuned on arrival.
- This guitar will ship in a gig bag.
- Please note that although we have tested the intonation and set up the guitar here, due to the nature of guitars as well as the shipping and handling process there is a chance you will need to set up the guitar again. The set up may need to be modified to suit your personal preferences.
- Guitars picked up from our West Gosford store will set up ready to play!
