Les Paul Custom - The Les Paul name means sustain, power and tone and the Prophecy LP adds even more potency to that legacy. With its solid Mahogany body with highly- figured quilt Maple top and glued-in Mahogany neck, the EX has its roots firmly planted in the LP tradition. But that's where tradition ends. With its Black Cherry, hand-rubbed body and gold hardware, the new GX breathtakingly beautiful. But, don't let its good looks fool you. At the heart of this LP are Gibson USA's custom Dirty Finger pickups which have been called "the critical unique between power and dirt". Because of its aggressive tone Dirty FingersTM pickups are perfect for those who play tuned down nu-metal and other equally hard-hitting styles. A coil-tap push/pull volume control let's you switch from humbucker to single-coil mode for non-traditional tonal flexibility.
Condition:
- This is a used guitar.
- Physically this unit is in great condition. It shows a small amount of wear from use and age. Wear includes some imperfections and small dents, some scratches and scuffs. There is some oxidisation on the hardware. Please see photos for further details.
- This guitar has been tested and set up. It is fully functional, the intonation has been checked. The frets are smooth and have plenty of life left.
- This Fender has had a minor service. This included:
- Cleaning the neck, buffed and polished frets.
- Pickup height adjusted.
- String height adjusted.
- Switches and pots were cleaned.
- Brand new Elixir strings have been installed.
- For safety during shipping, tension will be taken off the neck. The guitar will need to be tuned on arrival.
- Please note that although we have tested the intonation and set up the guitar here, due to the nature of guitars as well as the shipping and handling process there is a chance you will need to set up the guitar again. The set up may need to be modified to suit your personal preferences.
- This guitar will ship with a padded gig bag.
- Guitars picked up from our West Gosford store will set up ready to play!
