Revox B77 MKII 70s / 80s Vintage 1/4 Inch 2 Track Reel to Reel Tape Recorder - 240V
The Revox B77 MkII is a reel-to-reel tape recorder manufactured by the Swiss company Revox in the 1970s and early 1980s. The B77 MkII is revered for its exceptional audio quality, reliable performance, and robust build, making it a prized possession for collectors and audio enthusiasts alike.
Condition:
• This is a used item.
• This unit is in good condition for its age. It only shows some general wear from use and age like some marks, nicks and scratches. Nothing major at all. Overall it is a great looking vintage piece. Please see all photos.
• This unit has had a major service. This included new belts, replacing any faulty components, brand new VU meter globes, a deep clean and demagnetisation of the heads. The Record and playback levels have been calibrated.
• Please be aware this unit has currently been set up for use with 240V. This means it is ready to plug and play within Australia!
• This unit has a multi-tap transformer so it can be used anywhere in the world with a quick and easy modification. This includes switching the switch at the back and changing the fuse. We would recommend that if you are not familiar with this to take it to your local tech. It should not take more than 10-15 minutes. We could also perform the work here before posting. Just get in touch before purchase.
• This unit uses a two pin IEC cable to power on. An adaptor to the more common figure 8 cable will be included in the sale. We can also help you source the correct IEC cable if you don't want to use the adaptor. A figure 8 cable will be included for AU and NZ buyers.
• This sale is for the Revox B77 MKii, IEC cable adaptor and Figure 8 cable (AU & NZ only). Nothing else is included in this sale.
