Roland Bass & Drums M-BD1 Sound Expansion Rack Module - 100V
The Roland Bass & Drums M-BD1 is a sound expansion module, released in 1996, designed specifically for bass and drum sounds. It features 28-voice polyphony and 8-part multitimbrality, with a total of 197 preset patches and 17 rhythm sets. The M-BD1 is based on the SR-JV80-10 Bass & Drums expansion card, delivering high-quality samples from renowned session musicians like Marcus Miller and John Patitucci for bass, and Abe Laboriel Jr. and Bob Wilson for drums.
The module offers various bass sounds, including slap, fingered, picked, fretless, harmonic, acoustic, and synthetic basses. For drums, it includes single drum sounds, drum groups, and 14 complete kits, alongside several loops. It has minimal front-panel controls but can be edited via MIDI SysEx. It also includes reverb and chorus effects, and despite the lack of extensive editing capabilities, it is appreciated for its convenience and sound quality

• This is a used unit.
• This unit is in good condition for its age. It shows some general wear like marks, nicks and scratches. Nothing major. Please see all photos.
• This unit has been tested and is fully functional.
• This unit has had a new memory battery installed.
• Please be aware this unit is 100V. This means it MUST be used with a step-down transformer, not a travel adaptor. If you are unsure about this please let us know. We have some great, compatible step-downs for sale HERE. They are designed in Australia for use in Australia and can be run 24/7.
• If you purchase from outside Australia you may need a step-down transformer to use this unit. Please contact us if you need any help sourcing the correct product.
• This unit uses a standard IEC cable to power on. A Japanese IEC will be included in this sale for you to use with your step-down transformer.
• This sale is for the M-BD1 unit and Japanese IEC only. Nothing else is included in this sale.
