Micro Seiki DD-7 / DD-40 Direct-Drive Vintage Audiophile Turntable with MA-505 Tonearm The DD-7 is a really lovely listening turntable from the 70's. This Micro Seiki was sold as the DD-7 within Japan, and in other countries as the DD-40. Micro Seiki originally made surgical instruments and miniature mechanisms. They then started to produce exquisite and sought-after turntables in the 60's and 70's. The MA-505 tonearm is dynamically balanced for low tracking force and the tracking force application spring and tungsten wire ensure lasting quality without deterioration. The unit is housed in a solid base, Palisander-Rose finished pressed-board and large size shock absorbers designed to minimise acoustic feedback to produce excellent sound quality. When testing the DD-7 we were amazed at how great this turntable actually sounded. Condition:
