Kawai K1 II 80's Digital 8-Bit Polyphonic 61 Key Synthesiser
The Kawai K1 II is an updated version of the original K1 digital synthesiser, released in 1989. It features 61 keys and uses 8-bit PCM waveform synthesis. The K1 II can layer up to four waveforms to create complex sounds, which include a set of 256 digital waveforms (204 additive waveforms and 52 sampled acoustic sounds). One of its standout features is the addition of built-in digital reverb, a notable improvement from the original K1. This synthesiser is known for its unique, grainy sound quality and was designed to be a cost-effective alternative to pricier synths like the Roland D-50. It offers 128 user patch memory locations and supports MIDI functionality, making it versatile for its time. The K1 II also comes with drum and percussion sounds!

- This unit has been thoroughly tested and has no faults to note.
- This unit has had a brand new memory battery installed.
- Cosmetically the unit is in good condition for its age. It shows a small amount wear like some small marks, nicks and scratches. Nothing major. Overall it is a very nice piece. Please see all photos.

- This unit uses a 12V negative centre power adaptor. A generic power supply will be included for AU and NZ buyers only.
