Korg MS2000R Analogue Modelling Synthesiser
This beauty from Korg combines state of the art analogue modelling synth sounds with a vintage Korg appearance. The MS2000R is the rack mount version of the MS2000 which first debuted in 2000 and is still a popular synth 19 years later! It was based off legendary Korg synths like the MS-10, MS-20 and MS-50. It is capable of some clean and crisp sounds as well as sub-bass and sweeping pads and leads. It is a reasonably priced poly synth which has tons of features, effects and real time control making it perfect for the beginner or more advanced synth users. The MS2000 has been used by many famous artists such as Snoop Dogg, Depeche Mode, Portishead, Daft Punk, Aphex Twin, Gorillaz, The Prodigy, Royksopp and so many more! (Vintage Synth Explorer)
Condition:
- This is a used unit.
- This MS2000R is physically in good condition. It shows some general wear from use and age like some small marks and nicks There is a section where some of the blue finish has come off on the rack mount, both rack mounts are a bit bent. The screen has some dark patches on it around the side. This is purely cosmetic, it does not affect the use or legibility of the screen. Everything is still clear and easily read. The knobs have started to yellow. Please see all photos. Overall it is still a nice rack.
- This unit has been serviced. This included replacing any faulty components and tact switches. It has been thoroughly tested since being serviced. We can confirm this unit is fully functional and sounding as great as ever.
- This MS2000 will be shipped with a generic power adaptor if buyer is located within Australia or New Zealand. Nothing else is included in this sale.
