MAM MB33 Analog Bass-Synthesizer 1U Rack Mount TB303 Inspired Synthesiser
The MAM MB33 was released in the mid-1990s by German manufacturer MAM, is an all-analog monophonic bass synthesiser built as a faithful but more flexible TB-303-style module, featuring a mixable saw and square VCO, a 24 dB low-pass filter with aggressive resonance, MIDI control, envelope-mod depth, decay and accent shaping, and the trademark gliding portamento that makes it ideal for acid basslines. Unlike later “Retro” editions, the first-generation rack MB33 is prized for its rawer filter behaviour and warmer saturation, offering a distinctively punchy, rubbery low end that responds smoothly to cutoff sweeps and envelope modulation, making it a sought-after piece among collectors and acid-house producers.
Condition:
- This is a used unit.
- Physically this unit is in good condition. It shows some general wear from use and age like some marks, nicks and scratches. Nothing major at all.
- This unit has been tested and it is 100% functional.
- The unit takes a few minutes to boot up. When you first turn it on, the MIDI light will be on. Once it is ready to play the MIDI light will turn off.
- This unit powers on with a 15V Negative Centre DC power supply. This power supply will be included for Australian and New Zealand buyers only. International buyers will need to source their own.
- This sale is for the unit and PSU (AU & NZ only). Nothing else is included in this sale.
