The Solid-5 is a really lovely listening turntable from the 70's. Micro Seiki originally made surgical instruments and miniature mechanisms. They then started to produce exquisite and sought-after turntables in the 60's and 70's. Their attention to detail and fine mechanics are why the Micro Seiki turntables are known as a cut above the rest. The unit is housed in a solid base and features large size shock absorbers which are designed to minimise acoustic feedback and produce excellent sound quality. This unit looks beautiful and sounds great.

Condition: 

• This is a used unit. 
  
  
• Physically, the unit itself is in good condition. It shows some general wear from use and age like a couple of nicks in the plinth and some scratches. The main wear would be that the dust cover is not in great condition. it has been cracked at the back, is missing a piece and has been glued back together. Due to this it does sit a little tight on the top. Although cracked, it is still perfect for protecting the unit while it is not in use and during the shipping process. 
  
  
• This unit has a built in level which has dried up over time and no longer has the little bubble inside it.
  
  
• This unit has been tested. It is fully functional and sounds excellent.
  
  
• This unit has had a brand new drive belt installed. 
  
  
• This unit will ship with a generic headshell and a brand new Ortofon OM5S. The OM5S will be installed before shipping for the new owners convenience. 
  

• Please be aware this unit is 100V. It will ship with a step-down for Australian and New Zealand buyers only. 
  
  
• If you purchase from outside Australia you may also need a step-down to power on this unit. If you are unsure please feel free to get in touch.
