This 1U rackmount unit combines Aphex's patented Aural Exciter and Big Bottom technologies, offering a powerful yet natural enhancement to audio across genres, broadcast, and live applications. The Aural Exciter restores clarity, brightness, and presence by dynamically generating harmonics without altering signal levels—great for reviving dull or compressed mixes. The Big Bottom section delivers deeper, punchier low frequencies by extending bass content without excessive boosting. Controls include per-channel Overhang and Girth knobs for the Big Bottom, plus Tune, Mix, and a Harmonics (Normal/High) selector for the Aural Exciter. Monitoring is made intuitive with LED indicators showing active processing.

Condition:

  • This unit has been used.

  • This unit has been thoroughly tested. Everything is working as it should. There are no faults to note.

  • The cosmetic condition of this unit is good. It shows some small signs of wear from use and age like some marks, nicks scratches and rack rash. Please see all photos for further details.

  • Please be aware, this unit comes with a 100V Power supply. This means you MUST connect it to the correct step-down transformer before powering it on.   • Alternatively you could source a 240V AC/AC power supply for this unit. It would need to be:
    240V input
    24V output
    AC/AC
    No less than 300mA.
  • The use of a step-down transformer or sourcing a power supply may also apply to international buyers as well. Please ask if you are unsure so we can help you source the correct item.

  • This sale is for the unit and 100V power supply only. Nothing else is included in the sale.
