Audio-Technica AT150E/G Limited VM Cartridge OCC6N Elliptical Stylus Japan

The Audio-Technica AT150E/G is a limited gold-finished version of the company’s high-grade AT150 moving-magnet cartridge. Made in Japan, it uses Audio-Technica’s dual-magnet VM generator system and a standard half-inch mounting arrangement.

It is fitted with the original-style elliptical stylus assembly, featuring a lightweight tapered beryllium cantilever and nude square-shank elliptical diamond. This combination was designed to provide low moving mass, strong tracking performance and detailed high-frequency reproduction.

The stylus grip carries the OCC6N marking. This refers to the high-purity 6N oxygen-free copper used within the cartridge’s generator system, rather than the material used for the stylus tip itself.

The AT150E is designed for connection to a standard 47k-ohm moving-magnet phono input.

  • This set up has been tested. It is working well and sounds great!

  • This set up shows some small signs of wear. Nothing major. Please ensure to see all photos.

  • This unit ships on a Audio-Technica headshell.
