Boss BX-800 Vintage 8 Channel Analogue Stereo Mixer Roland - 100V
The Boss BX-800 is a compact eight-channel analogue stereo mixer produced in Japan during the 1980s.
Each channel provides adjustable gain, two-band treble and bass equalisation, effects-send level, pan and an individual channel fader. Its wide input-gain range accommodates microphones, instruments, drum machines, synthesisers and line-level studio equipment. In addition to conventional mixing, the BX-800 has become desirable for its transistor saturation. Increasing the input gain can produce warm compression and progressively gritty analogue distortion, particularly useful with drum machines, synthesisers and electronic percussion.
