The Boss DSD-3 Digital Sampler/Delay pedal, released between 1986 and 1989, combines delay and sampling features. It builds on the Boss DSD-2's design and functionality, offering up to 800ms of delay time and a sampling capability to record short audio snippets for playback. Like its predecessor, it uses the same Boss DD-2 circuitry, renowned for its clean and pristine digital delay tones.
The pedal includes controls for Delay Time, Feedback, and Effect Level, along with a Mode switch to toggle between Delay, Sampler, and Hold functions. It features buffered bypass and can be powered by a 9V battery or adapter. Its versatility makes it suitable for ambient textures and creative looping applications
This unit for sale was made in Japan. It has the blue label and the serial number can be found inside the battery compartment. The serial number is A 951702. It was built during October 1988.

- This is a used unit.
- This unit is in good condition for its age! It shows a small amount of wear from use and age like some light marks, scuffs and scratches. Nothing major at all.
- This unit is 100% functional. All controls work as they should.
- This unit can power off a 9V battery or 9V negative centre power supply. A generic power supply will be included for Australian buyers only.
