The Boss ME-8B is a vintage floor-based multi-effects processor designed specifically for bass guitar. Released in 1996 and made in Japan, it combines 23 different effects, with up to 13 effects available simultaneously.
Its effects include compressor/enhancer, defretter, octave, overdrive, distortion, fuzz, equaliser, Humanizer, synth bass, touch wah, chorus, flanger, delay, reverb and noise suppression. Additional control effects include pedal wah, ring modulation, slow attack, pitch shifting and vibrato.
The ME-8B provides 32 user patches, 32 preset patches, a chromatic tuner and a manual mode that allows the footswitches to operate more like individual effects pedals. Connections include stereo outputs, headphones, remote footswitch inputs and an input for an optional expression pedal.

Condition:
- This is a used unit.
- This unit is in good condition. It shows some general wear from use and age like some marks, nicks and scratches. Please see all photos. Overall it is still a great little pedal board.
- This ME-8 has been tested and is fully functional. It has no faults to note.
- This unit uses the Boss BRC-240 14V AC/AC power supply. This power supply is not included in the sale. If you need a hand sourcing the correct item please get in touch. Some other sellers on ebay are selling them.
