Denon DL-301II Moving Coil MC Phono Cartridge Special Elliptical

The Denon DL-301II is a low-output moving-coil phono cartridge developed as an upgraded version of the original DL-301.

It features a lightweight double-layer tapered cantilever and a solid-diamond special elliptical stylus. Denon’s two-way damping system is designed to maintain a consistent frequency response across changes in room temperature, while the rigid light-alloy body helps reduce unwanted resonance.

The DL-301II has a 0.4mV output, 33-ohm internal impedance and a recommended load above 100 ohms. It requires a compatible moving-coil phono input, head amplifier or suitable step-up transformer rather than a standard moving-magnet input.
