Korg M1 Vintage 61 Key Classic House Music Workstation Synthesiser Sequencer Released in 1988 and made in Japan, the Korg M1 is a 61-key digital synthesiser and music workstation that helped establish the all-in-one workstation format. Its AI synthesis engine combines 16-bit PCM waveforms with digital filtering, envelopes, modulation and two onboard effects processors. The factory library contains 100 Programs and 100 Combinations, including the distinctive piano, organ, strings, pads and percussion sounds heard throughout late-1980s and 1990s music. The keyboard is velocity sensitive and supports channel aftertouch. It provides 16-voice polyphony, an eight-part multitimbral Combination mode and an eight-track sequencer for recording complete arrangements. Notable Korg M1 users include Depeche Mode, Pet Shop Boys, The Cure, The KLF, 808 State, Vangelis, Gary Numan, Mike Oldfield, The Orb, Robert Miles and The Cranberries. Its distinctive factory sounds can also be heard on numerous landmark recordings, including Madonna’s “Vogue,” Robin S’s “Show Me Love,” Snap!’s “Rhythm Is a Dancer,” Jay-Z’s “Money, Cash, Hoes” and Donna Lewis’s “I Love You Always Forever.” Condition:
