Soundcraft Series 200 Vintage 7 Channel Analogue Mixer - 240V - Serviced!
The Soundcraft Series 200 is the original early-1980s analogue mixer range. It has 7 channels with a 4-group / stereo mix format, and is aimed at home/project recording, AV production and compact multitrack tape setups. A 1984 Home & Studio Recording review describes the original Series 200 as a compact portable stereo mixer, suited to home recording and 4-track tape recorder use.
The original Series 200 has four VU meters normally displaying the four main group outputs, with metering options for monitor/stereo bus and soloed signals. It also has four auxiliary masters with AFL monitoring, making it a flexible compact analogue desk for tape recording, synths, drum machines, live submixing or studio summing.
Condition:
- This unit has been used.
- This unit is in good condition for its age. It shows signs of use and like some general marks, nicks and scratches.One knob is not original. There is nothing major and there is not anything which detracts from this units use, functions or sound! Please see all photos. Overall it is a cool, vintage piece.
- This unit has 7 channels installed.
- This unit has has a major service. The PSU has been recapped, Every channel and input has been thoroughly tested, all faulty components were replaced. The switches and pots have been cleaned and brand new VU lamps were installed. There are no faults to note.
- The power supply has been set up for 240V for use in Australia. You can also switch it to 100-120V with the flick of a switch on the PSU. Please ensure the switch is at the correct position for your countries mains power before turning it on.
- This sale is for the Model 200 only. Nothing else is included in this sale.
