Released around 2009, the Tascam CD-200 is a professional single-disc CD player housed in a sturdy 2U rackmount enclosure.

It uses a TEAC-designed CD transport and a ten-second shockproof memory to reduce interruptions caused by vibration. It plays standard audio CDs and correctly finalised CD-R and CD-RW discs, along with MP3, MP2 and WAV files recorded onto data CDs. CD Text and ID3 tag information can be shown on the display.

Playback features include continuous, shuffle and programmed modes, programming of up to 99 tracks, single-track or all-track repeat, folder playback for data discs and an Intro Check function. Variable pitch control allows the playback speed to be adjusted by up to approximately ±12.5%..

• Physically this unit is overall in nice condition for its age. It shows some signs of use and age like general marks, nicks and scratches. The pitch knob is not original. There is nothing major, nor anything which detracts from the use or sound of the unit. Please see all photos.

• This unit has been set up for use in Australia. It is currently set to 240V and has an Australian plug end. Please ensure that the switch on the back is set to the correct position before powering on.
  
  
• You can switch this unit to 120V with the switch on the back for use in other countries.
