Teac Model 1 Tascam Series Mixdown Unit 2U Rack Mount Line Mixer - 240V
The TEAC / Tascam Series Model 1 is a vintage rackmount mixdown unit / line mixer from the late-1970s Tascam Series era. It was originally designed as a line-mixing unit for tape-based recording setups, especially the kind of home/project studio systems built around TEAC/Tascam reel-to-reel and multitrack recorders.
This unit mixes multiple line-level sources down to a stereo output. It works well as a compact summing mixer for synths, drum machines, tape returns, effects returns or small studio setups.
It can be used to mix 8 inputs to a stereo bus, or as a simple hardware summing mixer for multiple signals into one stereo output. It also has headphone cue functionality, making it useful for small tape-recording, overdub or monitoring setups
Condition:
• This is a used unit.
• This unit has been thoroughly tested. It is 100% functional and has no faults to note. All channels, inputs, buttons, pots etc have been checked.
• This unit shows some general wear like some marks nicks and scratches. There is some a rack rash. Nothing major, please see all photos.
• This is a factory 240V model. This means it is ready to plug and play within Australia and New Zealand.
• If you purchase from overseas you will need to use a step-up transformer to power on this unit. If you are unsure, please check in before purchase.
