The Yamaha FC5 is a compact footswitch-style sustain pedal for Yamaha keyboards, digital pianos, synths, tone modules and other compatible gear. Yamaha describes the FC5 as a foot switch-style sustain pedal for instruments with a SUSTAIN input, used in the same way as a piano sustain pedal. It can also be used for other momentary on/off footswitch functions where compatible. 

It is a simple, durable utility pedal with attached cable and 1/4" jack, useful as a spare sustain pedal or general footswitch for compatible keyboards, drum machines, rack units and effects.
