The Yamaha NS-700X is a high-fidelity, 3-way floorstanding speaker system introduced in 1987, designed to deliver exceptional audio performance for both analog and digital sources. It features a 31 cm pure carbon-fiber cone woofer, a 10 cm composite midrange driver with an amorphous diamond-coated dome, and a 3 cm dome tweeter, all arranged in a coaxial layout to enhance directional characteristics and minimize diffraction . The bass-reflex enclosure, constructed from high-density particleboard with hozo baffles, provides structural rigidity and reduces unwanted vibrations. Its internal crossover network utilises high-quality components, including silicon steel cores and OFC magnet wires, to ensure precise signal distribution across the drivers . Weighing 25 kg and measuring 380 x 672 x 344 mm, the NS-700X combines robust construction with refined acoustics, earning praise for its lively, punchy sound and detailed imaging

Condition:
  • These speakers have been used.

  • These speakers show some signs of wear on their enclosure. Mostly some scratches, scuffs and nicks. There are sections where the black veneers has chipped off. Mostly around the corners and edges. Please see all photos for further details. 

  • We have thoroughly tested these units and they are sounding great! 

  • These units are fully original. They contain no aftermarket parts.

  • These units are a factory matched pair. This ensures optimum fidelity and phase coherence for the pair.

  • Pick up from West Gosford, NSW, 2250 is free and welcome! Please choose the pick up option at the checkout.

International buyers: These speaks weigh 25kg each so it may not be financially viable to ship them. However we are willing to ship at the buyers expense. Please contact us with your full address for a direct quote.
