Made in Japan and dating from the early 1990s, the Yamaha Q100 is a compact analogue stereo graphic equaliser from Yamaha’s Studio 100 series.
It provides independent seven-band equalisation for the left and right channels, with frequency bands centred at 125Hz, 250Hz, 500Hz, 1kHz, 2kHz, 4kHz and 8kHz. Each band offers up to 12dB of boost or cut, allowing detailed adjustment of bass, midrange and treble frequencies.
The slider controls feature illuminated tips for improved visibility, while the bypass function makes it easy to compare the processed and original signals. Connections include stereo RCA and 6.35mm inputs and outputs, with selectable input-level attenuation for use with different audio equipment.
