Yamaha SPX90II Programmable Multi Effects 1U Rack Unit.
The Yamaha SPX90II is a classic late-1980s 1U digital multi-effects processor and the updated version of the original SPX90. It includes reverb, early reflections, delay, echo, modulation, gated effects and pitch-change programs, with MIDI control and editable user memories. Yamaha Black Boxes notes that the SPX90II expanded the original SPX90’s maximum delay time from around half a second to two seconds, with some parameter ranges expanded.
It has the familiar SPX character heard across countless 1980s and 1990s studio, live and synth/drum-machine setups — great for gated reverb, vintage digital ambience, pitch effects, vocal treatments and hardware send/return processing.
Condition:
- This is a used unit.
- This unit has had a new memory battery installed.
- This unit has been thoroughly tested and we can confirm it has no faults to note.
- Physically this unit is in good condition for its age. It shows some general wear like some marks, nicks and scratches. Mainly on the top, bottom and rack ears. One rack ear is slightly bent. Please see photos.
- Please be aware this unit is 100V. This means it MUST be used with a step-down transformer, not a travel adaptor. If you are unsure about this please let us know. We have some great, compatible step-downs for sale HERE. They are designed in Australia for use in Australia and can be run 24/7.
- If you purchase from outside Australia you may need a step-down transformer to use this unit. Please contact us if you need any help sourcing the correct product.
